The congregation met at 49 Wallace Street (a converted shop?) before building a hall in Waggon Road.

The church is aligned approximately north/south. It is built in pale red brick with some reconstituted stone blockwork at the entrance. Above eaves level in the gables is finished in vertical timber. It has a pale red tiled roof.
