This Roman Catholic Parish was founded in 1973 and the church and hall built in 1976/77. The architects/builders were SGD Buildings, Ltd, Glasgow. The hall has since been upgraded. Linked with Sacred Heart Church, Cumbernauld & St Joseph's Church, Carbrain.

This town church has brick walls and a modern (tile?) roof. It is in good condition and in full ecclesiastical use. Researched by East Crawford, compiled by J. Dowling, 28/8/03.
The church is aligned anticlockwise of east/west with the entrance in the east face and the hall to the north. It has red facing brick and copper facias. aThe roof is in sheeting. The windows are continuous below the deep facias.
